Refund policy
Semi-permanent makeup is a bespoke service performed on your body, so the usual distance-selling right to change your mind does not apply once treatment has started. Here is exactly where you stand.
Last updated:
Booking fees
The £20 booking fee is non-refundable. It reserves a slot that cannot then be sold to anyone else, and it covers the consultation and patch test.
It is not lost if you give proper notice — with 48 hours' notice or more it transfers to a new date, once.
Treatments already carried out
Once a treatment has begun, it cannot be refunded. Pigment has been placed in the skin and the professional time has been spent; this is a bespoke service made to your specification.
This does not affect your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If it has not been, you are entitled to have it put right, and to a price reduction if it cannot be.
If you are unhappy with the result
Talk to the studio first, within 14 days.
- Most concerns raised during the first two weeks are normal healing stages — the colour looks too dark, then patchy, then seems to vanish. This is expected and resolves.
- If something is genuinely wrong after healing, it will be assessed and, where reasonable, corrected at the top-up appointment at no extra cost.
- Where a fault cannot be corrected, a partial refund proportionate to the problem will be considered.
No refund is due where dissatisfaction comes from aftercare not being followed, undisclosed medical information, a skipped top-up, or a change of mind about a shape that was approved at mapping.
If the studio cancels
If the studio has to cancel — illness, emergency, equipment failure — you are offered the next available appointment, or a full refund of your booking fee. Your choice.
Missed appointments
Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged at 50% of the service price to the card on file. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may count as a no-show if the treatment can no longer be completed safely.
Gift cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are transferable.
